Make your very own super-cute Frozen Christmas ornaments with a few items from your local craft store! These cute little embellished frames would also be prefect gift tags for a little girl’s Christmas present!
Materials Needed:
- assorted un-finished wooden frames (about 4 to 5 inches in height)
- acrylic craft paints (I used blues, pink & purple)
- printer
- printer paper
- cardstock
- scissors
- jeweled embellishment stickers
- ribbon
STEP 1: I found these unfinished wooden frames at my local Michael’s store back in May (they usually carry them year-round). I gave each of them two coats of acrylic craft paint and let them thoroughly dry!
STEP 2: Do a Google image search for Elsa and Ana pictures. Print them out and trace the opening of your frame over the printed out image with pencil. Cut out and use a glue stick to paste the image to a slightly larger piece of cardstock (you need a heavier backing–you could also print directly onto cardstock if your printer allows). Using the glue stick adhere the image onto the back of the frame (make sure there is no paper showing on the right side of the frame).
STEP 3: Embellish each frame with jeweled stickers and tie a ribbon through the top cutout (you can optionally use craft glue to attach the ribbon to the back of the frame so it won’t show).
These would make great gift tags or even take home gifts for a girl’s Frozen theme birthday party–just tie them onto a goody bag and put each girl’s name on the back!
