Join me as I blog my way through Dr. Furhman’s Eat to Live plan (again)! My goal is to reach my ideal weight by doing the aggressive 6 week Eat to Live plan by Dr. Fuhrman until I reach that magic number! I will be posting what I eat each and every day (or as close as I can get) with pics! If you are currently on the plan we would love to hear from you–please comment and post pics below!
WHAT I ATE ON DAY 7:
Breakfast: Apple Pie LARA BAR
Lunch: Tofu sauted with low-sodium veggie broth, garlic powder, dried onion and mushrooms. I added in some leftover green lentils from Day 3 for extra protein. Mixed greens salad with sliced strawberries, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, diced red onion and raw pine nuts; dressed with balsamic vinegar. 1 medium banana.
Dinner: 1 TJ’s flaxseed wheat tortilla, leftover green lentils (blended with water to make a bean paste), 1 Dr. Prager’s California veggie burgers, 1/2 avocado, fresh green onions.
Mixed baby green salad with apple slices, raisins, celery, grape tomatoes and red onion; dressed with balsamic vinegar.
WEIGH-IN: I lost 6 pounds in these first 7 days! So worth it so far and I still wasn’t as perfect as I was when I did week #1 before 🙂

Youre food looks amazing and wow those results are amazing to, maybe after the holidays I can get my act together. Until then I’m going to keep getting my pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks!
Made my grocery list for the week know I will have to shop again. Can’t wait to start.
This is very helpful and motivating. Thank u for posting it!
I did the 7 day salad cleanse and did not lose a single pound. I was very disappointed. I’m not sure the eat to live program will work for me. I am vegan and was at one time a raw foodist. I found that to be too strict for me so I am back to eating cooked food and at times am vegetarian and not vegan. It’s very frustrating that I am not gaining weight. Not sure what to do.
Hi Susan,
So sorry to hear you’re frustrated! But I do have to say, after helping many readers for many years, weight loss is different for everyone. The two biggest factors I’ve found are how close you are to your ideal weight (BMI below 23) and your age. The closer you are to your ideal weight the longer it will take to lose weight. And with increased age it takes our bodies a longer time to release weight.
What I can tell you is you will certainly lose weight following the aggressive weight loss plan (at at least 95% compliance) it’s only a matter of how long it will take for it to come off.
Hoping you continue your nutritarian journey and don’t use this as an excuse to be deterred!
