I did the 7 day salad cleanse and did not lose a single pound. I was very disappointed. I’m not sure the eat to live program will work for me. I am vegan and was at one time a raw foodist. I found that to be too strict for me so I am back to eating cooked food and at times am vegetarian and not vegan. It’s very frustrating that I am not gaining weight. Not sure what to do.

      Hi Susan,

So sorry to hear you’re frustrated! But I do have to say, after helping many readers for many years, weight loss is different for everyone. The two biggest factors I’ve found are how close you are to your ideal weight (BMI below 23) and your age. The closer you are to your ideal weight the longer it will take to lose weight. And with increased age it takes our bodies a longer time to release weight.

What I can tell you is you will certainly lose weight following the aggressive weight loss plan (at at least 95% compliance) it’s only a matter of how long it will take for it to come off.

Hoping you continue your nutritarian journey and don’t use this as an excuse to be deterred!
