Join me as I blog my way through Dr. Furhman’s Eat to Live plan (again)! My goal is to reach my ideal weight by doing the aggressive 6 week Eat to Live plan by Dr. Fuhrman until I reach that magic number! I will be posting what I eat each and every day (or as close as I can get) with pics! If you are currently on the plan we would love to hear from you–please comment and post pics below!
WHAT I ATE ON DAY 5:
Breakfast: (see pic above) 1/4 large cantaloupe, sliced, with blueberries and pomegranate seeds, sprinkled with raw hemp seeds
Lunch: Mixed baby greens salad with sliced cucumber, sliced carrots, diced yellow bell pepper, pomegranate seeds and raw pepita (pumpkin) seeds. 2 Dr. Pragers veggie patties (found at Trader Joe’s). 1 Banana
Dinner: What can you order from Chipotle when you’re on the Eat to Live plan? Well, again, there’s that issue with salt–Chipotle is seriously sodium-licious (just check out their nutrition chart). So, this would likely fall under the category of the 90/10 maintenance plan. My order: burrito bowl with no rice, double black beans, sofritas (a new organic braised tofu item that is luckily served at my local store!), fajita veggies, mild salsa (this pico de gallo has the least sodium, corn, guacamole and extra lettuce.
Dessert: large apple

Wondering why you can’t have rice in the bowl thingy at Chipotle?? Double beans and no rice? Been reading and watching your emails and posts, wondering if I could start the plan. Don’t understand the rice??
Hi Julie,
Rice and whole grians are limited to 1 cup daily when you’re following the Aggressive Weight Loss plan, that’s why I often minimize whole grains in my meals!
Yes you can start the plan! Start here!
xo, Kristen
I’m just starting out and not sure if I should eat if I’m not hungry. I’ve eaten’on plan’ but don’t feel like second salad or dinner.
Thanks
Hi Jess,
Definitely don’t eat if you feel full. You’ll slowly adapt to the bigger portions!
Best,
Kristen
