Pink Ballerina Baby Shower DIY Take home Goody bags // MyMommaToldMe.comThese take home goody bags I made for my sister’s Pink & Gold Ballerina Baby Shower are super-simple to execute and absolutely adorable!  All you need are these white paper sandwich bags from your local craft store (I got mine at Michael’s), this free font called “Jennifer Lynne” (you can upload here), some double-sided tape, tulle ribbon (I found at Jo Ann’s) and your home printer!

Easy to make goody bags for baby girl shower or birthday // MyMommaToldMe.comI used PowerPoint to enter the font and had my printer paper setting on A5 when I started printing.  I did 5 bags at a time, placing the bags front side down.  It takes a bit of trial and error to get the right height you want on the bag.  My advice is to account for about 3 1/2 to 4 inches from the top of the bag to place the ribbon and then an additional 2 1/2 inches from the ribbon to the lettering.

Use double-sided tape or Glue Dots (in the small strip shapes) to affix the tulle ribbon across the bag, press down hard to secure to the bag.

After printing and filling the bags (I filled them with pink paper shredded fill–the kind used for Easter–and Essie nail polish in “Ballet Slippers” to keep with the ballerina theme), use good old fashioned Elmer’s All Purpose glue to glue the folded down tops of the bags.  Let them dry at least over night.

Use pretty take home goody bags as part of your dessert table decor // MyMommaToldMe.comI also used some of the goody bags to line the dessert table because they looked so dainty and beautiful!  Needless to say our guests were thrilled with the Essie nail polishes (the best price for Essie’s “Ballet Slippers” on the web is here).  Check out how to make the rice crispy treat pops here!

Special personalized take home goody bags for little girls at baby shower // MyMommaToldMe.comSince we invited our guests’ daughters to the shower, I wanted to make them special kid-friendly gift bags, which we packed with glitter Crayons, glitter bracelets with personalized initials (found for $1 at Jo Ann’s!) and cute stickers–the girls loved their bling!

I love these goody bag ideas, not only for baby showers but for little girl ballet birthday parties. We host parties in our dance studio and these would be perfect for gift/goody bags. Thanks for sharing!

      Hi Yamilka!

Yes, I found this tulle trim at Jo Ann’s in the trim section! It was a few years ago, but I have seen it since!
