Pink Easter Tree

The pink tree.  My quasi-obsession.  My absolute favorite craft I’ve ever completed is undoubtedly my pink Chinese New Year tree.  Here is my beginning work on my pink Easter tree, which I never got to complete, but still snapped some pics anyway!  Next year I promise a pink Easter tree you’ll never forget!

Spring Butterfly tree

I wanted to make a bunny silhouette tree topper with a big white bunny tail and some matching paper eggs ornaments embellished with white glass beads like the butterflies have.   Speaking of the butterflies, I think they are absolutely stunning and surprisingly cheap at JoAnn’s.  I only could get five of them and they never came back in stock–I’m hoping to nab some more next year!

Pink Spring Tree decorations

I also got the white tulle ribbon (that I used as a garland) and the silk faux cherry blossom stems at JoAnn’s.  I had some really great ideas but just couldn’t find the time to pull it all together!  Can’t wait to tackle it again next year!

Just now saw this. Sorry you didn’t get to finish it. Maybe you can make a summer-themed tree out of it.

I think while lights would showcase the butterflies. Or, perhaps pink!
