What I Ate on Day 8 of Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live Plan // MyMommaToldMe.com

Join me as I blog my way through Dr. Furhman’s Eat to Live plan (again)!  My goal is to reach my ideal weight by doing the aggressive 6 week Eat to Live plan by Dr. Fuhrman until I reach that magic number!  I will be posting what I eat each and every day (or as close as I can get) with pics!  If you are currently on the plan we would love to hear from you–please comment and post pics below!

WHAT I ATE ON DAY 8:

Breakfast: Banana Blossom (same as Day 2)

Lunch: (see pic above) Mixed bay greens salad with sliced white mushrooms, grape tomatoes, sliced strawberries, diced red onion, raw pepita seeds.  Tofu “stir fry” using low-sodium veggie broth instead of oil, broccoli, leftover green lentils, and 1/2 cup red quinoa; garnished with green onions and raw white sesame seeds. 1 banana

Dinner: 1 Trader Joe’s falxseed wheat tortilla, green lentil bean paste (leftover from Day 7), 2 tbsp. hummus and raw baby spinach leaves.

Mixed baby green salad with grape tomatoes, pomegranate seeds, 1/4th Hass avocado, sliced white mushrooms, 1/2 cup garbanzo beans, raw sunflower seeds, sliced red onions, Trader Joe’s no-salt 21 seasoning salute; dressed with balsamic vinegar.

Dessert: fresh pineapple
