Join me as I blog my way through Dr. Furhman’s Eat to Live plan! After completing the 6 week plan and losing over 21 pounds last year, I know this method works! I will be posting what I eat each and every day for 365 days! My ultimate goal is to provide a years worth of clean-eating, phytochemical-rich meal ideas while on my personal journey to reach my ideal weight! WHAT I ATE ON DAY 28:
Breakfast: strawberries & 1 tbsp. raw creamy almond butter (unsalted)
Lunch: (see graphic pic above) Mixed greens salad with cucumbers, grape tomatoes, orange bell peppers, 1/4 Hass avocado, red onion, yellow raisins, and raw sunflower seeds; dressed with balsamic vinegar. Leftover split pea and sweet potato soup (see Day 24), 1/2 fresh mango
Dinner: Mixed baby greens salad with grape tomatoes, strawberries, carrots, beets, red onions, raw slivered almonds and topped with 3 tbsp. guacamole (from Trader Joe’s). 1 flax & whole wheat tortilla with 3 tbsp. hummus. Leftover tofu, kale and garbanzo bean “stir fry.”
Very clean and tasty eating today! Hoping the scale will make another noteworthy move!
