Join me as I blog my way through Dr. Furhman’s Eat to Live plan (again, yup I did this before and lost over 21 pounds)! My goal is to reach my ideal weight by doing the 6 week Eat to Live plan by Dr. Fuhrman until I reach that magic number! I will be posting what I eat each and every day (or as close as I can get) with pics! If you are currently on the plan we would love to hear from you–please comment and post pics below!
Breakfast: 1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal, sliced strawberries, 1 tbsp. raw hemp seeds
Lunch: (see first pic) mixed baby greens, chopped celery, beets, red onions, grape tomatoes, clementine oranges, raw pepita seeds; dressed with rice wine vinegar. Kale, garbanzo and tofu stir fry wrap.
Dinner Salad: mixed baby greens, grape tomatoes, red onions, yellow raisins, raw pine nuts, 1/4th Hass avocado; dressed with balsamic vinegar
Dinner: Trader Joe’s flaxseed wrap spread with hummus, with 1 Dr. Prager’s California veggie burger and 1 MorningStar vegan grillers burger, topped with a drizzle of siriacha
Today I just felt like I wanted to eat something semi-bad. Dr. Fuhrman frowns upon processed foods but allows for you to indulge 10% of the time. I applied the 90/10 rule today, I still ate loads of fresh veggies along with it, so the effects were minimal. It’s not my most shining of Nutritarian moments but I made sure to eat my whole salad first!
