I’ve been working as a Stella & Dot stylist for almost a year now and I am really getting the hang of things: building a busy calendar, meeting fabulous women (who turn into fast friends) and getting to use my creative juices! One of my most popular boards on Pinterest right now is “Stella & Dot Trunk Show Ideas!” Here are a few easy ideas for displaying your jewels!
This idea was shared on Facebook by Stella & Dot Stylist Jessica Gunn and it is seriously ingenious! This is what Jessica wrote when she posted:
Up until this point I haven’t had any trays to display my jewelry at shows and I have just made do with the hostesses table and other props! But I was frustrated and felt that my display never looked very professional so I went to my local Dollar Tree, bought 8 8×10 frames for $10 and painted the glass with the chalk board paint I had at home! Now I can write quirky things on them and point out important aspects of the jewels right there!
It is incredible how professional and eye-catching this display method looks! With a pack of 5 linen and wood trays costing over $44 (plus extra shipping cost) with Stella & Dot, this is the perfect low-budget, high-impact display for a new stylist! Thank you Jessica for sharing with everyone!
This super-chic jewlery display some from one of my Stella & Dot customers, Dianna! When she gave me the tour of her new place, I was in awe of her super-cute vanity and dressing room (yes, she got a whole room!!!). But, these framed shadow boxes that house her grandmother’s costume jewelry collection caught my eye right away! What a perfect way to display your Stella & Dot “bookers” that are out and presented when people come over to your house, but super-easy to pack up and take to a trunk show!
Dianna said she found these cute display boxes at HomeGoods, now I have a mission to stalk HG when they get their shipments in!
This last idea I found at Our Pintereting Family, and there you will find a fabulous tutorial on how to make a beautiful knob jewelry display like this one! I also think this idea could be made more portable by making some sort of stand for it–we need to figure out a way to get this to a trunk show after all!
I didn’t know you did stella & dot! My sister did it a while back and we both still love their stuff, these are real cute ideas for displays. I’ll show my sister!
Oh wow that is so cool :)) Yup I joined last June, my sister-in-law got me started on S&D, and I’m really having fun with it!! How long ago did your sister stop? I wish you lived closer so we could do a show 🙁
Hi Kristen, love your article on jewellery displays. Very helpful , thanks 🙂
Hi Katie! So glad you found them helpful! And thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment!
