So, you’re ready to start Dr. Fuhrman’s 6 week Eat to Live plan, or you’re curious about this whole nutritarian lifestyle thing! 

Well, I’ve got you covered! 

My goal is to fill this blog with 365 days of Eat to Live daily menu plans!  I want to make getting healthy and achieving health excellence as easy. as. possible.  

Okay, so I have a ways to go, but here is Day 45 with lots of beautiful, healthy and fresh foods for you to feast your eyes on (and hopefully nosh on, in the near future)!

BREAKFAST:

LUNCH:

  • Large mixed greens salad (3 cups lettuce) topped with sliced yellow bell pepper, sliced cucumber, 1/4 Hass avocado, grape tomatoes, 1/2 cup garbanzo beans, red onions and 2 tbsp. raw sunflower seeds.  Topped with Walnut Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing (or you can sub it out for a flavored vinegar).
  • 2 mandarin oranges

DINNER:

      Hi Karen!

      If you look at this post, there is a section called “You’re Going to Get” and one of the bullet points is “a free printable shopping list.” The link to download your list is there in the aqua colored font “Day 50 Shopping List by My Momma Told Me.” Once you click that link you’ll see the list in .pdf format and be able to print it out!

      I just started providing shopping lists starting on Day 45. You will have to click on each day and download the lists from each.

      Hi Susan!

      I have two kiddos (4 and 7) and they do not eat this way. As they get older I have incorporated more ETL dishes into their rotation. My hubby has gotten much better through the years and will eat about 75% on plan with me, and usually will have some turkey or tuna for his lunch. He does not monitor his salt intake.

      I did this all by myself for the first 6 weeks and I lost over 21 pounds–I promise you it can be done even if you have to go solo! My hubby tarted to want to eat with me when he saw how much weight I was losing! So, you start as the example and your family can follow!

      So the menu is listed in this post I just don’t have a printable shopping list for this particular day–the printable lists start at day 49!

    Hey Kristen! I am on the second day of this program and OMG!! It is so hard to make anything taste good without salt! I am using Mrs. Dash seasonings and that is helping. My question is I have never tried tofu or cooked with and I have no idea what to expect? Can you give me some pointers on preparation? Thanks!!

      YAY!! Huge congratulations to you for beginning your nutritarian journey!

      I have two favorite tofu recipes that I think will help you: Tofu Eggs and Crispy Baked Tofu Fingers.
